Date: 19.06.2014

Support for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
MatchPoint officially supports Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1) The service pack was (re-) released by Microsoft by the end of April.

Support for different jQuery versions
Within the MatchPointConfiguration file, a new flag allows loading jQuery in "noConflict" mode and MatchPoint will not overwrite "$" and "jQuery" variables. Custom solutions can register their own jQuery version (or another JavaScript framework) and use these variables.

Changes in Search Definition Web Part

  • Conditions within the Search Definition Web Part now support pre-selected filter values. Within the Search Scope configuration file, SearchFilter elements can be configured with a DefaultValueExpression. Values can be passed to a search filter i.e. by providing a corresponding query string parameter.
  • The Search Definition Web Part now allows users to define multiple full text search conditions.

Support for multiple consumers within the Refinement Web Part
The Refinement Web Part can now be configured to support multiple consumers, e.g. two DataGrid Web Parts can be refined with the same Refinement. Metadata from all consumers will be aggregated into the Refinement Web Part's value domain.

Note that all data sources need to support the refinement column(s) that should be aggregated (column type and name).
