Workspace Editor WebPart

The Workspace Editor Web Part can be used to create new MatchPoint workspace and to view or edit the metadata on an existing workspaces. The functionality can be compared to a Form Web Part that is configured with a WorkspaceDataAdapter.

The fields that are configured within the workspace template can be used with a FieldRef configuration element within the Workspace Editor Web Part. Alternatively, independent fields can be configured. Two additional field types (that are not available for the regular Form Web Part) can be configured:

• A RoleField allows specifying a MatchPoint role that will be applied to the workspace.
• A TemplateField allows specifying the base template for the workspace for new workspaces.
