Widget Catalogue
Widgets are useful small helpers MatchPoint Snow is providing in the right wing, just below the action panel. Widgets can be everything from displays providing information, such as lists of recent documents, graphical overviews, ads, weather maps or KPIs, to small interactive tools, such as interfaces to access external applications (e.g. Google, time reporting etc.), surveys or polls.
The following catalogue provides an overview of the widgets available in MatchPoint Snow and describe their functionality. The matrix below shows, where in MatchPoint Snow each widget is provided:
Widget | Main Portal | Project Workspace | Team Workspace | Community Workspace | Meeting Workspace | Personal Profile |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Today | + | - | - | - | - | - |
Hashtags | + | - | - | - | - | - |
Business Tags | - | + | + | + | - | - |
The Today Widget
The "Today" widget gives you an overview of things you need to do in MatchPoint Snow. You can see the number of tasks and issues assigned to you, as well as the number of items you need to review. By clicking on one of the numbers, you get directly to your personal profile page, where you can start working on the corresponding items.
The Hashtag Widget
In the timeline perspective, you can see a list of the most popular hashtags in the hashtag widget including usage information. By clicking on a hashtag in the list, you can filter the posts in the timeline by the corresponding hashtag.
If no hashtags are used in your MatchPoint Snow timeline or if you do not have access to any posts using hashtags, the hashtag widget will show a corresponding message instead of the hashtag list.
The Business Tags Widget
As a workspace owner, you can assign business tags to a MachPoint Snow workspace (please refer to Action Catalogue, Govern Workspace for a detailed description on how to assign business topics to your workspace). The business tag widget shows an overview of all business tags currently assigned to a workspace. The widget helps workspace members and users with read access to see in which business context a workspace has been created. You can further use this information when filtering and searching for a workspace by business tag.
