MatchPoint supports SharePoint Hybrid environments with two concepts - Hybrid Search and Remote Workspaces.

Hybrid SharePoint Solution

The Hybrid integration of MatchPoint is provided in a separate SharePoint solution (Colygon.MatchPoint.Hybrid.wsp) and therefore has to be installed seperately. The Hybrid solution is optional and has to be installed only if the features of the hybrid concepts are needed. See "Enable MatchPoint Hybrid support" in "Additional Installation Steps" for further information.

Hybrid Remote Settings

Hybrid Remote Settings is a configuration file that contains all the information required to connect and manage configured SharePoint Online tenant.

This configuration contains following fields:
TenantUrl - Specifies URL of the SharePoint Online tenant.
ClientId - Specifies "MatchPoint Hybrid Addin" Client Id (Guid) which is registered on SharePoint Online tenant.
ClientSecret - Specifies "MatchPoint Hybrid Addin" Client Secret which is registered on SharePoint Online tenant.
UpnDomainSuffix - Specifies the UPN Domain Suffix that is set in local Active Directory and was used for SharePoint Hybrid configuration.
AddInStartPage - Specifies the start page address for the "MatchPoint Hybrid Addin". Users will be redirected to this page after clicking the "MatchPoint Hybrid Addin" in SharePoint Online.
